Together we have decided to make human progress our business.

Established in 1975, Enactus  (formerly known as Students In Free Enterprise)  is an international, non-political, non-profit international organization that effectively brings students, business and academic leaders together by channelling the power of entrepreneurial action to improve the quality of life and standard of living of those in need. Today, Enactus has its presence in more than 36 countries, engaging students from over 1700 colleges. Through the community outreach projects undertaken by the students,  nearly 6 lakh lives have been impacted in India alone.

Enactus Hindu College was pioneered in February 2013. We, a team of 50 students and 1 faculty advisor, have consolidated our efforts in the spirit of Enactus. Seeking to bring about formidable changes in the society, the students of Enactus Hindu College intersperse business and philanthropy to aid those in need as well as guide and inspire the deprived through our ingenuity and expertise that we develop over time. For us, at Enactus Hindu College, it’s not only about facilitating our capabilities and knowledge to the people in need but also learning from them the virtues of life - patience, compassion and hard work.

As Ralph Waldo Emerson rightly said, and we couldn’t agree more – “The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honourable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.”

With the support of Enactus India and periodic business advisory from KPMG, we have undertaken 8 projects to date. We have undertaken 8  projects to date with 4 current projects namely- Antraat, Swabhimaan, Jeevika and Phirban

Project Antraat is an attempt to revive local arts and handicrafts in an effort to preserve and increase their relevance in the modern era. The project aims to sustain handmade products made by our disabled and women beneficiaries, hailing from more than six communities in the Delhi NCR region, in collaboration with Vision of India and POWHER Charitable Trust.

Project Jeevika is an initiative by Enactus Hindu College that aims to eradicate the problem of inaccessibility to clean drinking water with an attached sustainable business model positioned to provide an alternate source of income to our beneficiaries

At Project Swabhimaan, we believe improving one's skill set is the first step of the ladder which leads to self-reliance and the project aims to establish a self-sustaining ecosystem within the community which will eventually lead to the upliftment of the community as a whole.

Our project emerged from the dire consequences of Covid-19 on the environment, and employment of our country. Project Phirban came into place as a great opportunity, where we upcycled the unused PPE scrap into sustainable multi-purpose mattresses and pet beds. We are trying to solve 3 major problems; providing a source of income to our community, reusing the existing plastic in society, and providing people in need a solution to their lack of comfort.
